About Us

Influenced by historic architecture, southern hospitality, and modern elements, our carefully curated designs embrace the balance of traditional spaces that provide both comfort and livability. We love the excitement of new construction, while also bringing an old, historic home back to life.  We believe in preserving the craftsmanship of homes and refining them to use in a modern lifestyle, as well as, incorporating antiques in new builds. Our visionary, yet classic approach allows for a look of tailored elegance with each design.

Based in Macon, Ga, our team takes great pride in having an innate understanding of our clients vision and refining it to design a beautiful bespoke home. Celebrating the diverse needs and style of each project, our team uses precision and focus when space planning, hand selecting materials and furnishings and styling pieces to produce coherent harmony throughout each space.

Our Team

  • Carrie Robinson | Lead Designer

Carrie is a southern-based designer and the founder of Robinson Home, a full service interior design firm, specializing in historic preservation, project management and designing timeless interiors with a powerful focus on balancing form and function.

A graduate of Mercer University and Savannah College of Art and Design, Carrie's portfolio reflects a tailored and elegant approach while still retaining the comforts that make a house a home. Clean lines, calming colors, layered textures, and an assortment of hand-selected antiques are all trademarks of her designs.  She believes every home should be unique and beautiful while reflecting the individuals living there.

Attracting national attention for the innovative approach to historic property development, Carrie spearheaded the restoration and development of numerous historic properties as the lead Preservation Designer for Historic Macon Foundation. After almost five years with HMF,  Carrie left to pursue a career in interior design full-time and founded Robinson Home with her husband Will. In 2019 they opened a showroom, providing those in the Macon and surrounding areas access to a selection of curated items from the industry's leading vendors.

While design is her passion, Carrie loves to travel, explore new recipes, and constantly dabble with her 140 year old home.

  • Morgan Shealy | Designer

Morgan was the first member to join the Robinson Home team in 2016, bringing with her a background in event design and custom home construction. After graduating from Valdosta State University with a bachelor’s in Interior Design, she worked in St. Simons where she gained experience in fast-paced, consumer-centric environments and construction management — spurring her love for residential design. Acting as Carrie's second set of eyes, Morgan is our go-to for spatial planning and 3-dimensional design.  After working in our Macon studio for several years, Morgan expanded the team to St. Simons where she lives with her husband and sweet baby boy. On the weekends you’ll find her exploring the beautiful Golden Isles with her family.

  • Megan Thombley | Designer

A graduate of Georgia Southern University,  Megan's experience spans all areas of interior design from custom homes and lodges to niche boutiques and all the spaces in between. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, Megan accepted a design position with Lisa Torbett Interiors where she refined her design skills and assisted with projects for properties on St. Simons, Sea Island, Ponte Vedra, and Chicago.  In 2013, Megan was asked to participate in the Southern Living Custom Home Builder Showcase Home as the lead master suite designer for the St. Simons home. Her attention to detail, creative spirit, and ease at working well with others makes her a true asset to the design team.  When she is not assisting with design projects, you will find her enjoying time with her husband Kyle, and Shih Tzu Charlie.

  • Will Robinson | Business Manager

An Asheville native, Will brings strategic insight and business development to the Robinson Home team. He welcomed the opportunity to help establish our design firm with Carrie in 2016.  With a bachelor’s degree from Mercer University and a master’s from the University of North Carolina, Will’s diverse background has culminated into an eclectic skill set, perfect for owning and operating a successful design firm. His entrepreneurial spirit pushes him to focus on the day to day business operations— laying the groundwork for growth and exceptional project management. As a client, you'll see his work in the processes that make your project seem effortless and stress free.

  • Jake Grisamore | Logistics Coordinator

Graduating from Georgia College and State University, Jake plays a key role at Robinson Home. From ordering and receiving, to site installs, he makes it a priority to ensure each item is processed correctly and arrives safely at the clients' home— sometimes you’ll even find him steaming the drapes. He really is a jack-of-all-trades! Keep an eye out, in his free time you may spot him at a stoplight belting out terrible 80's Pop Hits.

  • Hannah Taylor | Marketing Coordinator

While attending the University of Georgia, Hannah interned for Amy Flurry — sparking her passion for interior design and using compelling copy and creative content to connect with audiences. After earning her Bachelor's in Public Relations, Hannah worked in NYC where she sharpened her skills in marketing and advertising. Specializing in written and graphic content, event coordination and client relations, Hannah finds her passion in cultivating brand awareness and creating thoughtful strategies for lifestyle brands to flourish. When Hannah’s not posting on Instagram, you can find her enjoying dinner parties with friends or headed to the mountains for the weekend!
