Like many young families, our clients envisioned their newly constructed home as a backdrop to host small gatherings and watch their young children grow while making everyday memories. We designed a house that is casual, curated, and functional by working with the architect to customize a layout to meet their needs, paying special attention to the kitchen and outdoor entertainment space. With three young boys, the furnishings and fabrics were selected to add layers of rich color, texture, and durability to their busy lives. Their love for New Orleans served as inspiration for the interior selections. The hand-painted tile in the kitchen, moody hues of blue, and wood sourced from the family’s property all embody the ecclectic style found throughout the Crescent City.
