For a couple with two young girls, it was all about creating a space that felt like their own in this charming, historic bungalow. Having been recently renovated by its previous owners, we were hired to give the space new life with furnishings, fabrics, and art. The room's colors were inspired by those found in the modern art piece above the white-washed fireplace — sandy taupes with cream layers and strokes of blue. The hand printed pillows, vintage bamboo chairs, and brass accents were selected to communicate a sophisticated yet welcoming ambiance in the common area.
